This Return & Cancellation Policy applies to paid language tutoring sessions purchased through Handcreativeor.
2. Session Bookings
All session details, including duration and price, are confirmed at the time of booking. You will receive a confirmation with the agreed date and time.
3. Cancellations by Learners
We understand that plans can change. To keep things fair for both learners and tutors, the following rules apply:
- Sessions cancelled with at least 24 hours notice before the scheduled start time can be rescheduled or, where applicable, refunded.
- Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours notice may be charged in full at our discretion.
- Missed sessions (no-shows) without prior notice are generally not eligible for a refund.
4. Rescheduling Sessions
You may request to reschedule a session with at least 24 hours notice, subject to tutor availability. We will make reasonable efforts to offer alternative time slots.
5. Cancellations by Tutors or the Platform
If a tutor or Handcreativeor needs to cancel a confirmed session, you will be offered:
- A rescheduled session at a mutually convenient time, or
- Where a reschedule is not suitable, a refund or credit for the value of the cancelled session.
6. Refunds
Refund requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis in line with this policy and any applicable consumer protection laws. When a refund is approved:
- Refunds are generally processed to the original method of payment.
- Processing times may vary depending on your payment provider.
Nothing in this policy affects any statutory rights you may have under applicable law.
7. Packages and Multiple-Session Purchases
Where you purchase a package of sessions, unused sessions may be subject to specific terms communicated at the time of purchase. In general:
- Unused sessions should be scheduled within the validity period specified in your package.
- Expired or unused sessions may not be eligible for a refund, unless required by law.
8. Quality Concerns
If you believe that a session did not meet reasonable expectations, please contact us as soon as possible with details. We may request additional information and will aim to work with you to find an appropriate solution, which may include rescheduling with the same or a different tutor.
